PDF File Viewing Instructions
Normally, if one clicks on a hyperlink to a PDF file, your computer should automatically launch the PDF reader on your computer and download the file into the reader where you can read it. Some of our newsletters, for reasons unknown, will not allow this to happen.

If you get the error message "Error reading linearized hint data", you must disable the "Fast Web View" option of the Acrobat Reader. To do so, follow the following directions:

1. Launch Acrobat Reader
   
   
2. Click on "Edit" in the menu bar. (A drop down list of options will appear.)
   
   
3. Click on "Preferences" in the drop down list. (A window labeled "Preferences" will pop up.)
   
   
4. Look at the Preference List located on the left hand side. If you are using Acrobat Reader 5.0, click on "Options". If you are using Acrobat Reader 6.0, click on "Internet". (A list of Web Browser Options will appear near the top middle of the window.)
   
   
5. Click on the third option, "Fast Web View", to disable it. (The check mark will disappear.)
   
   
6. Click on the "OK" button on the bottom right hand corner. (The Preferences windows will disappear.)
   
   
7. Close down the Acrobat Reader.
